Mike Townend

Mike advises our team’s delivery in the areas of business strategy, social media, PR, marketing and particularly government relations. Mike has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors.

In the private sector, he has had senior leadership roles in publically quoted companies, currently holds executive and non-executive directorships of a number of SMEs and has been instrumental in fundraising for startups.

Mike’s public sector experience encompasses elected political roles in local government including cabinet responsibility for communities and voluntary groups. He has also acted as an aide and agent to a UK government minister. Recent activities have included public relations and stakeholder engagement assignments in regulated industries.
